The Shop Tech Runner will be responsible for performing a variety of duties and driving company DOT vehicles. A clean and valid driver's license is a requirement for this role. This is a hands-on role that requires strong team skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Clean and inspect equipment.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance procedures on equipment.
• Pick up, deliver, and set up equipment as needed.
• Ensure duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
• Perform work in the shop and in the field with the use of a company vehicle.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Clean, organize, and maintain the shop and shop equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement through training and associate development.
• Cover/Float in Tank and Box departments when no runs are scheduled. Tank and box experience not required.
• Willingness to work outside of regular hours and overtime as needed.

Desired Experience

• Experience driving DOT (1 Ton) vehicles.
• Current DOT Medical Certificate/ability to be medically certified by DOT.
• Comfortable in a confined space setting.
• Ability to be respirator fit tested.
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record.

Compensation

Starting at $18.00 per hour

Ability to perform physical requirements of the position; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. at a time

Education

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
