Industries

Municipal Water, Wastewater Treatment, Sewer Bypass, Lift station bypass, dewatering, construction dewatering, fluid transfer, Industrial maintenance, Utilities, infrastructure, and Environmental.

Responsibilities

• Material Preparation: Measure, cut, and shape materials according to design specifications.
• Assembly and Fabrication: Assemble parts and components, using drills, welders, grinders, hand tools, plasma cutters, and cutting torches.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet required specifications and standards.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure proper functioning and safety. Clean, organize, and maintain the shop area and shop equipment.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise during the fabrication process, such as material defects or design discrepancies.

Desired Experience

• Welding: 3 years (Required)
• Previous experience in a fabrication or manufacturing enviornment is beneficial.

Compensation

$20.00-$25.00 per hour based on experience. A weld test will be conducted in the interview process.

Skills

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, tools, and materials. Ability to perform MIG and Stick Welds.
  • Attention to Detail: Presicion in measuring, cutting, and assembling components.
  • Manual Dexterity: Ability to work with hand tools and machinery with skill and accuracy.
  • Problem-Solving: Capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the fabrication process.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physical tasks and work in various environmental conditions. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. at a time and performing physical aspects of the position.

Education

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

Compensation

$20.00-$25.00 per hour based on experience. A weld test will be conducted in the interview process.
