Industries

Municipal Water, Wastewater Treatment, Sewer Bypass, Lift station bypass, dewatering, construction dewatering, fluid transfer, Industrial maintenance, Utilities, infrastructure, and Environmental.

Responsibilities

• Perform light mechanical work on semi-tractors, trailers, and pumping equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, and perform general maintenance on vehicle/equipment.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance procedures on pumping equipment.
• Clean, organize, and maintain the shop and shop equipment.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in a timely fashion.
• Maintain accurate records of each repair performed.

Desired Experience

• At least 1-year experience as a diesel mechanic.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and DOT physical.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

Compensation

The hourly wage will be commensurate with experience.

Skills

Experience working with Detroit & Cummins Engines.
Ability to perform general maintenance on Freightliner Tractors.
Ability to perform general maintenance on Roll-Off trailers.
Prior experience with transmission, engine, electrical, suspension, driveline, HVAC, brakes, and air systems.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
